Election Night
Macon-Bibb county voters have been voting in the primary races for Mayor, County Commission, local water board and sheriff and the primaries for US Congress, the Georgia Senate and the General Assembly, as well as multiple different judges for Georgia’s Supreme and appeals courts and Macon-Bibb’s district attorney, clerk of court and solicitor general for the past month.
Today, the Board of Elections (BoE) will release results when the polls close at 7 p.m. Despite many residents raising issues over late redistricting and incorrectly issued ballots, the BoE has not decided to delay the election and has counseled concerned voters to double check their correct precinct and eligible races on the Georgia Secretary of State’s website.
