Three atypical ways to enjoy your time in Macon

Macon is a very interesting town when it comes to culture. However, there seems to be a focus on a few selected places. Here are a few options for spending your time off in a place that’s not in every other listicle about Macon.

1. Sky Zone trampoline park

Bring out your inner child and go jump around for a few hours at Sky Zone. The Macon location offers several programs and experiences, such as a “Ninja Warrior Course” and “Ultimate Dodgeball.” Additionally, on Fridays and Saturdays after 7:00 p.m., the park transforms into quite a party. “Lasers, music and blacklight transform the whole park into a crazy jumping dance club,” Ticket prices vary depending on activities you are participating in.

2. Daiquiris & More

This new addition to the downtown scene has already established itself as a competitor. Every Tuesday is a buy-one-get-one sale, and every Wednesday, women receive a dollar off their drinks. On Thursdays, you can get a free tube shot with every daiquiri. Offering a plethora of drink options for an affordable price, Daiquiris & More is a cool new spot to check out with your friends — as long as you’re 21!

3. The Situation Room

Escape rooms suddenly became the hip new thing to do, to the point that there was a whole horror movie made about them. That’s how you now your business idea was a good one: when there’s a b-list horror movie about it. The Situation Room is a relatively new business located on Poplar Street. Tickets are $30, but a 4.8/5 rating on
