Macon-Bibb County’s property tax rate will roll back under Mayor Lester Miller’s $211 million budget approved Tuesday night.

After the recent cyber attack that affected county computers, county commissioners also approved a new $132,400 annual contract with Kroll Associates to continuously monitor the system so that suspicious activity would be detected immediately.

Commissioners also accepted grant funds for the Emergency Management Agency and local specialty courts. They hired a landscaper for Linear Park in Pleasant Hill and sold off abandoned rights of way off Telfair, Violet and Hill streets and made preparations for next month’s Bragg Jam.

Here are the highlights from Tuesday’s meetings.
