Their journey began with a Talent Show debut. From there, MothaFunka, a student band at Mercer University, received an invitation to open for Mercer’s biggest event of the year: Bearstock. In the weeks leading up to Bearstock, the members of the band faced challenges with being students, learning new songs, and working together in a large band consisting of eight people.
