Ready to hop into Easter? Check out these 10 Macon events that could make an eggcellent Easter weekend.
Easter Brunch at Loom
Looking for an Easter themed brunch spot? On Easter Sunday, Loom, located at Hotel Forty on 405 Cotton Ave. is hosting an Easter themed brunch from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The event is reservation only and features a special Easter menu, including deviled eggs, fried chicken and waffles and jelly donut bread pudding.
Easter Eggstravaganza at Harley-Davidson of Macon
This Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., stop by Harley-Davidson of Macon for free food, an egg hunt and photos with the Easter Bunny.
The event will have Easter eggs hidden inside the Harley-Davidson shop, with “sweet surprises and Harley prizes” as well as an arts, crafts and coloring station for kids, according to the shop’s social media.
Easter Egg Hunt at Martha Bowman Church
At 10 a.m. this Saturday, join Martha Bowman Church at 500 Bass Rd. for its annual egg hunt. The event is free to all with no registration required.
Organizers ask attendees to bring their own baskets.
Barks and Brews Easter Egg Hunt
Looking for a unique egg hunt? Barks N Brews is hosting an egg hunt for dogs this Saturday at noon. Bring your furry friend to sniff out eggs full of treats at their dog park and bar located at 695 Riverside Drive.
The dog with the most eggs found will win a basket of prizes. Day passes for the park are $10 per dog. After the hunt, pictures with the Easter Bunny will be offered from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Organizers ask attendees to bring their own baskets.
CCMI Community Cookout
Join Centenary Community Ministries, Inc. for an Easter community cookout this Saturday, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Tickets are $30 for adults or $10 for children and include a dinner plate and activities for the children. All proceeds go towards supporting Centenary Community Ministries.
United Community Church Passion Play
Want to watch the Easter story live? United Community Church is hosting its annual passion play for three showings, one this Friday at 6:30 p.m., one on Easter Sunday at 6:30 p.m. and a final performance on April 27 at 6:30 p.m.
The play, titled “He Touched Me,” is free for all, however, offerings will still be accepted. The doors for all three showings open at 5 p.m. Early arrival is encouraged.
