Macon is home to many notable music artists, including Jason Aldean, Otis Redding and The Allman Brothers Band. Macon has even contributed to the birth of the Southern Rock genre.
Musical performances can be enjoyed across different locations, such as Grant’s Lounge, The Society Garden, the Capitol Theatre Macon, the Macon City Auditorium and the newly opened Atrium Health Amphitheater.
Below are five upcoming performances for music fans between April and early May. Tickets for all events can be purchased online before the show.

1. Randall Bramblett at Grant’s Lounge
Randall Bramblett will perform at Grant’s Lounge on April 25 from 8 to 11 p.m.
Bramblett is a rock musician and songwriter. He toured with several bands, such as the Gregg Allman Band. The band currently has nine members.
Bramblett recently released an album titled “Paradise Breakdown” in Sept. 2024.
An album of Bramblett’s songs was released in 2023 by Bettye LaVette. The album received a Grammy nomination.

2. Mother’s Finest at the Garden
Mother’s Finest will perform at Society Garden from 8 to 10 p.m. on May 2.
The funk rock band was founded in Atlanta. The band currently has six members, including Joyce Kennedy, Glenn Murdock, Jerry “Wyzard” Seay, Gary “Mo” Moore, John Hayes and Dion Murdock.
Mother’s Finest’s song titled “Baby Love” has received more than 12 million streams on Spotify. Additionally, they were inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame in 2011.

3. Tinsley Ellis Performing The Naked Truth Tour
For his Naked Truth Tour, Tinsley Ellis will perform at Capricorn Sound Studios and Museum on May 3 with two shows. Ellis is known for his blues and rock music. His album “Naked Truth” was released on Feb. 9, 2024.
The first show will begin at 6 p.m. and the second will begin at 8 p.m.
Ellis has performed in more than 100 shows over the past year.

4. Alice Cooper at Atrium Health Amphitheater
Alice Cooper, a notable rock music figure, will perform at Atrium Health Amphitheater on May 3 from 7:30 to 10 p.m. The amphitheater was recently opened in 2024.
Cooper has many notable releases, including “Poison” with more than 400 million streams on Spotify and “School’s Out” with more than 200 million streams.
Cooper is a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member and an actor outside of his musical career. He has appeared in shows such as That ’70s Show.

5. Chris Knight at Capitol Theatre
Chris Knight will perform at the Capitol Theatre on May 9 from 8 to 10 p.m.
Knight is a country singer who was born and raised in Slaughters, Kentucky. His most popular song is titled “down the river,” and it has received more than 10 million streams on Spotify.
Before pursuing a music career, Knight worked as a mine reclamation inspector and miner’s consultant. He did not discover his passion for music until after he earned a degree in agriculture from Western Kentucky University.
