This short documentary covers Mercer’s Student Government Association (SGA) 2024 event titled: Christmas Tree Lighting.
This event happens each year in Macon at Mercer’s Toney Auditorium. Students, faculty, and the Macon community come together to celebrate. Alisha Mitchell, the Student Government Association’s Junior Class President, began planning this event alongside other SGA members in July. The event came together on a cold winter night on Dec. 5, 2024 when a full house of people in Toney Auditorium celebrated together.
