- The Denver Nuggets: Coming off of a championship season, the Nuggets are returning with full health. The roster is returning minus role player Bruce Brown. However, Jamal Murray showed that he is fully healthy and can be the perfect partner in crime for Finals MVP, Nikola Jokic. With Michael Porter Jr. staying healthy and Aaron Gordon continuing to be elite on both sides of the ball, Denver is poised to have a great chance to repeat.
- The Boston Celtics: Talent and depth galore. The Celtics were already led by two of the best young superstars in the entire NBA. Now with the addition of NBA All-Star and NBA Champion Jrue Holiday, the Cs may have just found their missing piece. Holiday provides veteran leadership and championship experience. Not to mention the fact that he is arguably the best defender in the NBA. Pairing him with elite scorers in Tatum and Brown to go along with a core group that was just a step or two shy of their own title, the Boston Celtics are favored coming out of the Eastern Conference.
- The Milwaukee Bucks: A blockbuster trade for the Bucks put super star and elite scorer Damian Lillard in Milwaukee threads for this upcoming season. This pairs him with two-time MVP Giannis Antentokounpo and Khris Middleton. The Bucks were champions two seasons ago and their defensive oriented nucleus provides a perfect supporting cast for two 30 point per game scorers in Antetokounmpo and Lillard. The Bucks will be in position to challenge the Celtics for the Eastern Conference crown.
- The Los Angeles Lakers: A healthy Anthony Davis to go along with LeBron James running the show is a scary sight. The Lakers have also added young depth with players like Cam Reddish and the resigning of Austin Reaves. If this squad can stay healthy, they can make a run to dethrone the Nuggets from their seat atop the Western Conference.
