Nordista Freeze plays The Garden with The Crumbsnatchers
Nordista Freeze, the psychedelic-pop master, brings his unique sounds to Society Garden with The Crumbsnatchers. Both Freeze and The Crumbsnatchers are heavily influenced by new wave artists such as David Burn and The Pixies but by way of an epic party.

Food Truck Festival at Carolyn Crayton Park
Food tastes better when it’s served from a truck, that’s just science. Macon-Bibb Recreation brings its Picnic in the Park/Food Truck Festival back to Carolyn Crayton Park with 12 different food trucks. There will be trucks serving everything from crab legs to barbecue with music provided by Trombone Love whom you may have seen at the Douglass Theatre’s “Jazz in the Courtyard” events.

Macon Film Guild Presents: “The Unknown Country” at the Douglass Theater

Georgia Audubon August Meeting at the Museum of Arts & Sciences
The coolest thing to do during the pandemic (other than baking) was birdwatching, and for many people, the hobby stuck. The Audubon Society is a group that’s dedicated itself to the conservation of birds and their habitats. The Georgia chapter of the society is holding their August meeting at the Museum of Arts and Sciences and is open to everyone who would like to learn more about the society.

MAC at Philosophie Wine Bar
MAC stands for Macon Area Connection and is a new endeavor by the Macon Chamber of Commerce to bring people in Macon together monthly in a casual environment. New Maconites who would like to meet people in the community are as welcome as seasoned Maconites who maybe haven’t had the chance to meet people in a while. Macon Bibb United Boxing Club At Freedom Park
Why join an expensive gym when Macon-Bibb Recreation has you covered? For $20 a month, you can get fighting fit with the crew and boxing coaches at United Boxing Club. If you don’t have your own gloves, the gym can loan you some and from 4-7 p.m. Monday through Friday the coaches are available to train newcomers.
