Spirit Forward

Macon is blessed (or maybe cursed?) with amazing bartenders, but how do they stand up under pressure? NewTown Macon is sponsoring a weekly event where participating restaurants and bars are challenged to reinvent a classic cocktail using an unexpected spirit. So it could be an Old Fashioned using gin, or a Gimlet with bourbon. The selected liquor and cocktail is announced on NewTown Macon’s Facebook page the Monday prior to the Wednesday event. A complete listing of participating bars and restaurants is posted on the Spirit Forward Facebook event page
