Head coach John Allmond is in his first year with the Mount de Sales girls’ high school basketball program. With all of last year’s veteran players returning and several talented underclassmen coming up, the team has high hopes for the season. On the court Coach Allmond expects a fast-paced and high-energy team that always competes, but off the court, he wants to instill a family-like unity among his girls. A big victory over then-undefeated ACE might just turn out to be the kickstart that Coach Allmond and the Cavaliers need for this year.
