The Rose Hill Shapeshifter Haunts Local Cemetery

Stories of claimed sightings by locals in Macon who describe the ghost to be a “shapeshifter”

Youtuber “The FAM” claims to have captured the Rose Hill shapeshifter on camera in a youtube video posted back in 2019. “The FAM” entered what they called, “The most Haunted cemetery we have ever been to” at approximately 3:00 a.m. to see if they could find the ghost themselves. They walked through the cemetery at night in an effort to capture footage of the shapeshifter that they claim to have posted on their youtube video.

Among many other gravesites, this cemetery hosts the forever home of Duane and Gregg Allman, two famous local musicians from Macon that played together in the Allman Brothers Band. While their grave can be seen here at Rose Hill, their spirits are claimed to remain in “The Big House” the Past home of the Allman Brothers Band members. These are just a few sightings of all the ghosts that are claimed to live in Macon.

Well known Macon Cemetery, Rose Hill, is known and loved by all of its locals. People visit all the time to pay respects to their loved ones. In a 13WMAZ article posted in 2022, tourists consider it “an amazing place to visit,” Or so they thought. Locals have claimed to have spotted a shapeshifting spirit that haunts the cemetery at night. Unknown to who or what this shapeshifting being is, the people of Macon claim it’s there.
