Macon-Bibb County Executive Director of Community Affairs Henry Ficklin gives commissioners a report Feb. 8 on agencies tapped to receive more than $1.8 million in American Rescue Plan Funds to fight crime.

The Macon-Bibb County Commission is poised to spend more than $1.8 million dollars in American Rescue Plan funds to fight crime. Before giving final approval during its February 15 meeting, commissioners will hear more details from the organizations chosen about how they will spend the  money.

Commissioners also are set to give final approval of plans to distribute about $400,000 in federal Community Development Block Grant funds.
