Renaming Government Center, steps to close landfill and enhance Pleasant Hill park go before Macon-Bibb Commissioners
Macon-Bibb County Mayor Lester Miller puts items approved by a majority of commissioners in a consent agenda that is usually approved in bulk at the evening meeting the following Tuesday.
The Macon-Bibb County Commission’s Committee of the Whole approved several measures that will be up for final approval at the April 20 meeting.
Here is a quick look at items that will be coming up Tuesday including four alcohol licenses, approving a contract for closure of the Walker Road Landfill, new fire engines, park enhancements in Pleasant Hill and reorganization of the State Court of Bibb County.
