Mercer’s dance team is considered a spirit team alongside Mercer’s cheerleading team. They are responsible for supporting Mercer’s student-athletes and encouraging crowd engagement by demonstrating their school spirit. On Dec. 6, the men’s basketball team played against Middle Georgia State University, which some of the girls attended due to prior engagements as the game began at 11 a.m. This video highlights what it’s like to be a part of Mercer’s dance team.
