Tiny Tour: Amerson River Park
Amerson River Park is a popular place for recreation in Macon. Featuring several lookouts of the river, a playground, fitness circuit, picnic tables, and trails through 180 acres of land, there is something for everyone. Explore the park on the paved Park Loop or Great Lawn Loop, or opt for the unpaved Pond Trail that explores the forest of the park. The river access also offers recreational activities such as kayaking, tubing, and canoeing. Admission is free and is open seven days a week from 7:30-8:00.
