 Here’s four local macon coffee shops for coffee lovers, ambiance seekers, and anti-death enthusiasts who are looking for an unique dining experience and great-tasting coffee.  

In my opinion, when someone says coffee with a view, this is what they mean. Taste and See Coffee Shop and Gallery is located at 546 Poplar St. and has the hours of 7a.m.-9 p.m.Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday, 8 a.m.-10 p.m. on Saturday, and closed on Sunday. With beautiful artwork and a warm cozy aesthetic with comfortable sofa chairs, this coffee shop invites you as soon as you walk through the door. Not to mention, customers claiming that the coffee is “liquid gold.

Decadent Dessert Bar is located at 530 Poplar St. and has the hours of 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday -Thursday, 8 a.m.-9 p.m. Friday- Saturday, and 11 a.m.-6 p.m. on Sunday. With a store locally and veteran-owned, Decadent creates a relaxing and aesthetically pleasing environment with high-end dessert and coffee. With everything on the menu made from scratch, the customer is able to experience why decadent is such a unique coffee and dessert bar. 

Cathedral Coffee is located at Northway Church on Zebulon Road and has the hours of 7a.m.-7 p.m. Monday- Friday, 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday, and closed on Sunday. This coffee shop not only has beautiful architecture and interior design, but according to its website, provides a great community of people following the Christian faith while indulging in just as great coffee. 

Z Beans Coffee is located in Mercer Village and has the hours of 7a.m.-7 p.m. Monday- Friday, and 8 a.m.- 6 p.m. Saturday-Sunday. Z Beans Coffee was started by a Mercer student who traveled to Zaruma, Ecuador in the summer of 2016 and discovered Ecuadorian coffee beans had a unique flavor. With his dreams and determination, this Mercer student was able to provide delicious coffee as well as a calming, rustic ambiance that has customers becoming regulars.
