Woda Cooper developers want to build Hawthorne Commons low-income housing in the old Virgil Powers Elementary School. They are asking for more than a half-million dollars in loans from Macon-Bibb County and the Urban Development Authority.

All items approved during the Macon-Bibb County Commission Committee of the Whole on May 11 will be up for final approval during the May 18 meeting beginning at 6 p.m. at Commission Chambers of City Hall. Here is a compilation of Tweets that detail action taken during committee.
