 The COVID-19 pandemic has had devastating impacts on the U.S. and has affected how most people live their day-to-day lives. Here are five places in Macon where you can get a COVID-19 test. 

 

1) CVS

 

CVS is one of the most popular places in the US to get a COVID-19 test, and there are several locations in Macon that offer testing. To qualifying residents there is no cost to get tested, and a referral is not required.

2) Mercer Medicine

 

This is one of the closest locations where Mercer University students can get a COVID-19 test, but the center is open to Macon residents as well. Results are typically received within two business days.

3) Middle Georgia Labs

 

Middle Georgia Labs offers several types of COVID-19 testing, including PCR, antigen, and antibody tests. An appointment is required. The tests are $150 each, and insurance is accepted.  

There are two locations of drive-thru testing-  

Macon (Mabel White Church)

Warner Robins (Galleria Mall)

The hours for drive-thru testing are- 

Monday – Friday: 9:00am – 4:00pm 

Saturday: 9:00am – 2:00pm

4) Walmart Drive Thru Testing

5) The Little Clinic- Kroger

Testing is available at Kroger’s The Little Clinic as long as you meet the criteria established by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) along with state and federal guidelines. Insurance and prompt pay will be accepted. An appointment is required, but a referral is not.
